I was thinking, would it not be cool if the game had a nice fog effect for some maps? (Or area's of maps?) Imagine a large alien looming out of the fog and taking a swipe at your head, or becoming quickly lost and seperated from your team mates to await your death by alien hands!
If this gets in, it would also be cool if a type of alien could create fog in smaller rooms and corridors. (Maybe as a replacement for adv basi gas?) This would help smaller and stealthy aliens attack humans, or hide smaller bases. Its a bit of a give away that an alien is around, sure, but where? ;)
Presumeably, if its going to be a new type of alien then it would need some new looks aswell. It could look slightly like a mara but it has a flatter face and a bulging sack of fog gas stuff attached to its stomache or back. Killing one could release the fog in a small area. (Could be stage 2 or 3. Or more if thats a thing)
Helmets could decrease the effect of the fog and the normal radar will help you pick out team mates and aliens.

Fog is not a problem. Idea with basi gas replacement sounds possible.

I think only areas with creep should have a fog effect for humans.

How about some aliens building that will generate fog in A base so humans would have harder mission when Psaw assault and also will make it impossible to kill entire base from 1 spot coz they couldn't rly see what they r shooting from outside of A base. Seems like nice balancing idea for me :) .
Also idea of aliens jumping out of fog when someone get close to their base sounds tasty :) .
Fog basi bombs sound good to though.

But in that case aliens will not see anything in base too :) And they can cover base with grass etc.

Nah , they would see in gas almost as good as in normal environment.
Sure i love grass spam in trem but gas seems more scary and horror like :D
+grass isn't that good because u can kill it easily and this "gas pump" wouldn't be so easy to kill since it will be covered by gas.
Sure that humans would spam into gas like hell but if u build wisely it wont be so easy to kill whole base from outside.
For example if u put some bamboo in gas :D

If done right i think it could be nice balancing since humans can rly hurt A base from outside and aliens have to jump in middle of H base and do suicide bombing stuff . Ofc. aliens have zapps and goons+ but it still would be fair enough since humans could still spam into gas.

Maybe humans could have a similar device (for balance). A disposable item that makes them inaudible and invisible on alien radar for a certain duration.

Ye, device that would make u almost invisible and make u disappear from aliens radar but only when u r standing still. Would end up nicely :)
