Title: Recoil Poll
Post by: Machine Medic on April 18, 2013, 12:03:50 AM
This poll is to find where support stands on the matter of recoil in this game.

Adding recoil as an always-on function will mean it will always be on, and cannot be turned off.

Adding recoil as an ingame votable option will mean players can vote to turn recoil on or off on a server, as long as the server allows voting on that g_var.

Removing recoil from the game completely means that weapons will not behave realistically, and will not kick at all, with the exception of the HMG/Chaingun.

Keep in mind, this is a poll for gun recoil, NOT bullet spread.

BTW, it would be client-side option. These things are not controlled by server.

I just figured that it might be nice to have all players in a server using the same settings, but I suppose it doesn't really matter.

clientside option means that recoil will be most likely nullified by client.

Damnit, who let Loki have a say in this?

Anyway... Switchable clientside recoil is better than none I guess...

I see, that is possible too.

<3 Rotakak.

This is why I support this project, and not original trem...  Timbo and all the others would've just told us to go to hell and code it ourselves right away, lol.

code it ourselves
True, that was practically only one possible answer to any suggestion there.
