We prepared a list of all weapons, aliens and buildings in the game for you. The details and specifics will be described later on the web, but we are sure Trem players (especially if you played on R servers) will recognize most of them immediately. Here we go:

But this time we would like more to ask for your opinion, than simply inform you. We are not sure about some names and that's why we would like to hear your opinion. It's especially these:
Pulse Rifle – how about Plasma Rifle or Photon Rifle?
Tyrant - right now we still use Tyrant because it can be simply shortened to "rant", but it just doesn't fit with rest of the names. Therefore we are thinking about change and so far we like "Brutan". 

We know it might be seen as details, but you know, "the Devil is in the detail" and we are really looking forward to your response and ideas.  Sooo..what do you think?

Taking a look at everything, I played on RCZ long time so I remember all these things. But there are some things which are making me to think. Like:
I had a lot of problems with "mine". There was players on RCZ which was dropping a mine close to turrets and when a Tyrant was coming to us, that mine exploded and blowed all our base.

The flare was more spamming than useful. Make a way to can hold that flare in your hand, for example in darkness maps. You can also drop it. There were a lot of players who were buying flares and dropped on the base, with multi-spam.

Well, that was the things that were disturbing me a lot.

I also was thinking: what do you guys think to make a medic class, which are healing humans? It would be hard for aliens to kill them, but as long as they have something like "adv baslick" to heal them, it's good.

About the medkit, what do you think about a special animation for that? I recommended this to Unvanquished, but they didn't like the idea. I was thinking like when you use the medkit, you could have an animation with your left hand and a syringe. This would be hard if you use a minigun, but meh.

Animations takes frames, frames that could be used to shoot or reload. Imagine 1.2 with medikit that needs to make one hand of the player free (if not both) to apply medkit. You would be dead in seconds from not shooting.

Remake would be interesting. I probably try to recreate it after release :)

I think mine is not problem. You will be able to remove mine with Construction Kit, so others can fix badly placed mines. Anyway, in case you are alien then you will be happy when you found such mine :)

Flare had low usage because of old engine - it cannot be used as source of light. But in UE it is possible. But it will not be possible to take it to hand. If you will need some light to take with you, you can allways use blaster with light (from stage 2). And when you spam flare around then it also can help, because it doing small damage when someone touch it.

Medic - there will  be no medic class, just attacker and builder. But Construction Kit have ability to heal also Humans so you can use it like medic. Grabit (basilisk) will also not heal others.

Medikit animation - that is really problem. We want to keep instant usage and any animation will break it. Another thing is that animation must works with all your weapons - when you have weapon in both hands and use medikit then you need to take one hand and play animation for medikit (pickup medikit somewhere and use it). That would look very weird when you will have only one hand for weapon. That is reason why medikit will be remote controlling system without animations. Similar things applied to grenade, mine and flare.

Antimaterial Cannon would be better, or at least the adjective antimaterial sounds better rather than antimatter

It sounds better yes, but in a military context, 'material' is distinctly different from 'matter'.


'Material' generally refers to equipment like trucks, tanks, aircraft, etc.

An Anti-Material cannon actually refers to Howitzers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v94qdpJqK9w), anti-tank rifles, etc.


'Matter' specifically refers to atoms and molecules.

An Anti-Matter cannon refers to a cannon that shoots anti-matter.

I know what you meant by Anti-matter. The same I meant with Anti-material. It doesn't automatically need to mean an equipment.

Machine: It is just about Pulse Rifle and Tyrant. Others are already decided. Tyrant was good, but maybe is time for new name :)
