Hey, the forum has been dead for quite some time and I think we're all waiting for some news about the current state of the game, mainly the beta version. I know you'll probably respond with "when it's done it's done", but I'll try because I'm just too impatient. We've all seen the beautiful maps and weird aliens, but no gameplay since the little 'just for fans' video. I just can't wait to buy the game.

Well, I've been secretly suspecting that something closed (NDA agreement, etc.) might be coming in the next few months depending on how far along the aliens are, but a public test is probably out of the question for the foreseeable future.
A public test should both:
- Serve a functional purpose, and
- Accurately reflect the final state of the game (as Rota has stated before)
As it currently stands, the Dev tracker would seem to indicate that AAA is still finding plenty of bugs to fix on their own. Holding any kind of testing session probably wouldn't be beneficial at this point. Once most of the features & content are roughed in, and most of the obvious bugs have been squashed, then it will be time for alpha testers to see how "monkey-proof" the software is. Things like stressing the netcode, seeing how the servers behave under heavy load, and testing different settings on different hardware.
I can wait if it means that the end game will be worthy as a spiritual successor.

Core of game is almost done, it is playable and fun :) We want to go to Steam Greenlight soon and then we probably create some kind of preorder. There is many hidden things that causing problems - for example do you know that UE Steam implementation have problem with showing ping to servers which are not on on LAN? Such basic needed thing. Or spherical collision on aliens (Pum and Adv. Pum) causing problems for landing on small ledges. Or capsule collisions on players causing that some players can step on some structures (Tyrant can walk over Turrets). And so on. But we will resolve everything :)
Things need to be finished before release:
- fix crash bugs
- rest of animations
- solve text on posters and flags
- HUD and menu tunning
- some sounds
- gameplay tunning
- optimalization

Good to hear that you guys are making progress behind the scenes.
The fact that Grass Max was greenlit means that you can submit straight to Greenlight without any pre-screening process, right?
Let us know if you want help with proof-reading/editing English text elements in-game or on the website in preparation for Greenlight.

We could put our game to Greenlight directly even before. Jut now it not needed to pay that enter fee.
Thanks for offering english corrections. It will be handy :)

That is so good to hear, thanks for the update. I will be pre-ordering for sure.

Indeed, count me in for a copy of the super-premium-ultra-legendary-mega-collector's edition.

Waiting for this game patiently ;)

Really looking forward to Greenlight alpha/beta.
I will be quite thrilled if this game is made available by early 2017... What better way to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our clan than by partying it up in a brand new game?
