Subnet ban is unfair, ya know? It bans also other players, innocent ones perhaps too.

I guess that every player is tied to his serialnumber that way there will be easier banning etc... It's much better than the qkey system etc...

I never asked for 20 admins, just given the possibility of some new players arriving of which some might have malicious ideas, so perhaps the best people suited for that are those who have already approved of their capability and usually those people are either admins on the server or renowned players.

Admining system will be very improved. Thanks to account registration, you can ban player with 100 % success - but of course, he still can play on other servers.

On the other hand, players will be able to report admins easily and every report will automaticaly include server demo from current game.

We do not know, if there will be any active admin on 1.2 when 2.0 will be released, but if yes, then is possible to transfer current admins to new game.

"View rules in game" is good idea.

Everything has advantages and disadvantages

Obviously reporting an admin does become easier, but the rules need to be written much clearer and not as broad as in 1.2 (RCZ)

Otherwise...

I guess that there will always be at least 1-3 Admins on Unlimited.

As I have already stated on my post on the 1.2 Forum I have started to question the method of being able to administrate the server(s) etc....

After all the administrative System on Unlimited does seem nice I guess that 2.0 would experience some issues too.

For example the matter of facts that there could be a flood of players and among those there could be some bad minded people. what are you going to do about them? You simply cannot be on 24/7 neither can you elect some admins from those new crouds.

I have thought of nominating the old admins on the official servers/Unlimited servers (not clan servers though) as they have already proven themselves worthy etc... This might make the acquiring of Admins much easier, if necessary.

No system is flawless, but there is no need to hop into the unknown blindfolded.

That is my idea:

Nominate those admins from 1.2 etc as they might be a helpful asset for the official server.

Might make it all a little easier for you...

Perhaps also include the ability to VIEW rules INGAME... These days I have had on 1.2. quite some issues with people being nitpicky about rules and I couldn't really refer them to the page and then quote the rule... It is getting rather strenuous.

Ýet Steam isn't Trem2

Perhaps have an alliance/clan/guild system... Not forcing people to wear the same tag, but at least to recognize.
Nothing with friendship or such... That is knowing the player and being able to contact him ingame and not being like all wuzzy about it.

So perhaps a "Friend" system in form of being comrades.

Might seem better to the older/more experienced players than calling everybody a friend.

Trem2 release at about 2014... Perhaps the graphics will, by then, be rather outdated, but I hope that the game will be affordable then and not have a startingprice of 30USD or similar. Nonetheless I do hope that this game has quite some changes and does not become somethinglike CoD (with aliens and buildings) or such... I really did like the matter of facts that it won't matter how much you play the game that actually only your skill counts and neither your wallet nor your gametime. That is... You unlock everything you need within the map and not within the game itself

a.k.a. No rank system etc....

it does sound drastic and it might get boring, but granting ranks and then enabling people to purchase advantages isn't going to help a lot. That could mean that I can let about anybody play using my nick and then start the game myself with a lvl 30 Character or similar.
