I changed my post, your Graphic card can be as fast as you want but without drivers it wont fully use it's potential .
I checked specs needed for your game and it seems to be demanding mainly CPU performance, so try to change your settings related to physics ingame that is done mostly by processor on laptops with mobile graphics.

Nomad, your problem could be use of your graphic cards, As I see you have dedicated card, but there is usually also Integrated Intel HD graphics that is automaticaly used most time because of low power consumption,
1. Check your graphic card drivers and DirectX driver versions and actualise it
2. Look for graphic configuration for apps, GeForce usually has it in Control panel options where can you configure what applications do you want to run with dedicated graphics and what you run with Intel HD, and also set options for them.

And as I see Loki's problem, his spect should be enought to run game like that, so it software problem, check your DirectX and also look for newest drivers, I had same problem with some games running on my PC, I lowered details and so on but FPS was still same, updating my drivers helped.

Every map has own advantages and disadvantages and in ATCS you can get jettard easily down with normal mara or anything else.

That was meant generaly, In lot of games not even the quake 3 engine are lowping players stronger, because more of their shots hit the target, and its similar like they had a bigger hitbox.

And another lagged/unlagged thing is that lowping players are on lagged very advantaged, I dont know if is it unavoidable, but it could be more balanced.

Hum actually, I think I was one of these people able to do do almost all tricks with mara and for some jumps you just needed to keep space pressed, well I hope that mara jump "balistics" will be very similar, there was also thing that is same for UrbanTerror that when you knew how to jump sideway your jump was longer.
Example HERE (one of my favourite maps =o) )

And also that Quake 3 engine strange thing used by people for mara, fps was somehow connected with something from code and value 90 made your jumps lower, so you were in the air shorter time and you jumped straight to humans face with mara, value 333 made your jumps higher and longer.

Maybe that could be second maras skill, like dretch can switch on and off wallwalk, but It would make mara littlebit overpowered, I'll try to prepare some wideo with 1.1 marajumps and tricks for you it is pretty funny and thats also the thing I loved mostly in trem.

I do? dont wanna spam offtopic but childish people like Vodka (Oblinub) always make me laught :D I was there about 2 times few weeks ago to play like 2 games on my shitty laptop that doesnt support OpenGL enought to show textures in right way, and yep :D I met Obli who from my short visit came to conclusion that I play trem constantly =) .

And to follow topic, I would suggest making it little bit harder to hit aliens/humans than it is on R Funserver even with lowping.

(btw. I would appreciate help with my OpenGL, I'm running that on laptop with windows vista ultimate 32bit, i3 CPU with integrated Intel HD graphic card,4GB RAM , and only driver I found supports 2.1 OpenGL version which doesnt show textures as It should. If some of you know some solution, PM me that please, thanks.)

When 1.2 came out I was curious about gameplay, and it was terrible, the thing that made my cry was that mara jump butchery. Nothing can replace old trem mara jumps. This wallclimbing was made just for people unable to handle their mara well, so please let mara to be like this old dynamic funny monster!

Or rooms infested with deadly gas or places with high temperature where can just battlesuit protect you :D , and that idea with superweapon or something like this could be built-in maps, like cool vehicle with machinegun or possibility to build special structure allowing faster gathering of evos for aliens after achieving something.
