unlike in Tremulous, structures and humans on your radar are not painted different colors... therefore if you're in the vicinity of a base and you see things pop up on your alien radar, all of them are in red

sniffing makes you differentiate structures (during sniffing they are painted blue) from the humans (they stay red)

was wondering this myself as well, if we were ever to grow a competitive clanwar-based murnatan this thing should be togglable or just [EXPUNGED]

I would like to know what you are actually meant to achieve in the game, walked around aimlessly for awhile then found a thing that just killed me no matter what I did and my weapons did nothing. All it tells you are what the controls are. Maybe if you had an objective that is more clear from the start people might invest. spent an hour playing and now I'm scratching  my head wondering  what the hell I was supposed to do.

Well for a starter there's a Steam page where you download the game from, there you have quite a useful intro

Do you remember jumping and killing all 4 stage 1 humans with your goon? Well, in Murnatan it's quite impossible with the speed of basic pum, unless you are playing against rookies to FPS games. His speed in comparison to advanced pum is really bad. Even a single human with a shotgun and light armor can sprint, shoot, sprint, shoot and kill you without you getting even close to him.

It's just not good for the gameplay since the moment humans get Stage 2 you are done for, Pitin makes the job of killing them much better since he turned out to be a counter against anything with his speed and rapid bites. I'd love to get a faster Basic Pum so we can counter Stage 2 humans without having to go full Red Army style with Pitins :(

I thought it used to be around 48-52 damage per hit

I am unsure, but I believe that with a 200 hp goon, getting shot once would lower your HP to 162, as far as I remember from all those years of playing
