Will aliens have a change of design and style from the old trem ones? Will they be more organic or will they have the cool trem design where aliens have bone plates as armour? I ask because I have idea's for aliens but I would like to know the style they should have before I start to draw or model a few concept designs.

Also, one other quick question: Will people who have gotten their idea's into the game be mentioned in the credits or something? (E.g, if a user surgested name is chosen, will they get credit for it?) It would motivate people to surgest more stuff and it would be awesome for whoever gets stuff in!

Bone plates are good. Design is hard to describe and we need to try various things too. But we know what we don't want - creepy aliens like in Natural Selection or in any alien horror movie.

Great! I have quite a few alien designs that I could redraw and post, although the idea for a scorpion like alien might be a bit creepy.

The human mind is restricted to what we know. It's like trying to think an 8th colour of the rainbow or creating a 5th dimension logically (4th is space-time).
NS aliens are more of animals to me rather than "creepy" (Tremulous' ones are more creepy), with an exception of the one that "blinks" (teleports) but the rest seem pretty unoriginal. The big one - Dinosoar? The small one - Dogs? The flying one - Dragonfly(ish)?
I don't play NS either so I actually haven't really seen the other ones.

As for other horror movies:
Meh. Also common over-used ideas. Cloverfield's aliens looked somewhat like trem's basi though.

I'd say they are currently low on ideas, but a forum member did contribute that "desert/water" scorpian-like alien thing.

When we will have something, we will release sketches, don't worry. Currently we are still more or less "paused" and we seeking someone for investment.
