So every game that I played, I never found my own language on it. Why? Because maybe people think that Romanians aren't buying shit. Well, the first game that I heard my language was on Hitman 3, where there was a mission in Romania.
I'm not talking here about voice acting...I'm talking here about subtitles and menu game.

To be honest, I know a little English, but some people don't know it. For example: Russians.
Most of the Russians that I met on game said that they don't know English.

Maybe this is impossible, but I recommend for this game to have more and more languages. Why? Because if someone gonna tell you: "dude, this game have our language", then I think people would like to buy it.

I'm not really good at market strategy, but this is also another options for sells.

The benefits are, if there are more languages like (Poland, Russian, Romanian, Arab, Japanese, Chinese etc), peoples will know how to play the game, following the tutorial, will know the commands, and will know what to do. Also, like I said about marketing and the example that I gave.

Maybe this is impossible, but you guys should add more and more languages ;)

It might be possible for Rota's team to include some sort of language-pack system after they release the core game, that would be able to support official or third-party text translations.

But that all depends on how long such a system would take to implement, and how much funding they have to spare.

Well, the game can get popular for something like this. For example, is not hard to see a title on Inside Gaming Daily, a title like: "THE GAME WITH THE MOST LANGUAGES FROM EVER?"

Murnatan can get popular from something like this  ;D

MegaMedic: I agree completely. We want to have many languages there. And if some language will be missing - anyone will be able to translate it, because all messages are in common txt files for now - but maybe all strings will be completely accessible from website administration, that is maybe even better for translation.

Unvanquished did a pretty good approach to this by making an 'open-to-everyone' translation webpage where they give you 200 or so things for you to translate. It doesn't translate in-game text though, just menus. Afaik it doesn't work well too, but I might be wrong.

Therefore, Tremulous 2 might have the future (or might not, since it isn't developed by a corporations, depends on what Global Government will decide), but Unvarnished doesn't.
