It's not functional yet, but the metalworking portion of the project is about 90% completed.
I'll probably start working on the electronics after I've had a bit of a break from working so hard on it. I've put about 80-120 hours of labor into it in the last 100 days.
I've got a box of 400 amp transistors in the mail to replace the 100 amp modules I was originally going to use though, since the original ones were old, inefficient, and a pain to use. That will bring the full-load power rating up to about 96,000 Watts, and a momentary surge level of about 192,000 Watts.
I will probably have no way to gain private access to an electrical power source that large in my lifetime, lol.
(North American residents can take their household fuse-boxes and quadruple them to achieve the same level of power handling ability, European residents can probably multiply their fuse-boxes by about 5 or 6... Nothing succeeds like excess.) :3
