Make global rules on this forum so everyone can see the rules in each section. And also it should be anti-reaction system like: "read faq please", "this question was asked dozens of thousand times", "rofl", "*facepalm*" and so members can't get big postcount and YES IM VERY JEALOUS ABOUT YOUR POST COUNTS  :'(

Most forums have a minimum character setting for posts, if that's what you're talking about.

Most of the time it's more of a pain than it's worth though, when all you want to do is make a quick answer to someone's posts.

That method what you were thinking about sux since they can quote somebody and it fills out needed characters for posting. Global Rules is what I said. I know it's possible since I made some forums.

Meh, who cares about forums posts in here when most people have way more posts on other Trem forums anyways?

Yeah.  I went there.

I think I just might.  :P

Global rules? Why? If they won't read a topic right below the one they're posting in, why would they read the one above it? (Some people don't even read most of the topic they're posting in)
Make a redirect page for new members, or send them a PM, or both.

Anti...what? How's that supposed to work? Who will program it and make sure it plugs correctly into here?
And you are jealous about post-counts???? Maybe post moar?

It's a post counter.  Unless you're a megalomaniacal freak about having the greatest number of spammy posts flooding a particular forum, I suggest you get over it.

Also, my

postcount sux :P
Because I take the care and time to make sure each one of my posts is clear, legible, and grammatically correct, as well as relevant to the subject of the thread.

If you're so worried about people being making posts consisting of four words and a smiley face, then don't do it yourself.

Well the work takes 5 min. or less and it's more likely that they will click on it than going to section Rules. Forum stuff doesn't take too much. And that "I am jealous about your post-counts was just sarcasm, go on wiki or ud.

Honestly, they're just numbers to me. Not to mention, my internet speed and quotas are restricted, hence i have to keep page loading to minimum

Therefore, Tremulous 2 might have the future (or might not, since it isn't developed by a corporations, depends on what Global Government will decide), but Unvarnished doesn't.
