Yes, let's take away our second to last defense against jetcampers. Now all we have left is Dretches, which any noob can hit. Good idea.
You will have new flying alien :)

With what? Same HP as regular basi? He better be pretty stupid fast then, otherwise if another high-ceiling map is made, jetcampers will rule.

Every map has own advantages and disadvantages and in ATCS you can get jettard easily down with normal mara or anything else.

that reminds me from jumping with dretch in centre of atcs you know that bug when your dretch will get 'slapped' up.

The two maras aren't really all that different imo.  I claw humans to death in 1.1 the exactly same way I do in 1.2  The only change is what jumps you can make.

Devs didn't say it's bug, at least I couldn't see it. Can you show us where it is written so? Thanks.
You might as well say that the fact pounce deals no damage in the first second after firing a barb isn't a bug.
You might as well also say that the fact if you noclip above a solid slick surface and turn it off just above it without moving, the fact that your character bounces up and down isn't a bug either.

Also, the mara jump bug is clearly visible if you turn on the speedometer, preferably setting it to horizontal speed (not verticle) and stick the the corner of a room, where you won't move. The speedometer will show up bouncing around 500ish if you do it correctly, even if you don't seem to move.
