I have hopes for this project despite the involvement with money.
I'm actually more neutral than you think, tremulous still goes above unvanquished at the moment. I can't judge T2 yet because the game itself hasn't proved itself good or bad. However the assets for T2 were good.

The 1.2 assets actually has been leaked somewhere way before Unv started developement, but as far as I've known, Stannum works for Unvanquished now so it doesn't really matter as he made the assets and he approves.
I actually don't like the Unv (1.2's except the dretch and tyrant) aliens although the dretch and tyrant seem o.k. but beyond that I thought T2's models are better.

If the two projects actually merged (too late now) and helped each other, the result would be more awesome than the situation we have now.

I know I'm technically gone from Tremulous, but I have to say this.
As a believer in the free market, I think it's a good thing that more than one Tremulous clone is in development at once. So, when Tremulous 2 was announced, I listened, and kept an eye on it. It shows promise. And considering how you've reacted to reasonable requests by the original dev team (along with countless other players who might want to support you), who we can thank for the original game, the countless hours it's entertained us, the in jokes, the Granger Lord Of Firmness (and those plushies you're hopefully going to sell- I want one), and all the effort that goes into maintaining a decently popular game for six years, I just want to say this:

Also, this project no longer has any relation to the open-sourced game Tremulous, aside from similar game mechanics.  New models, sounds, structures, and name are a result of Timbo's desire to quote 'rather see Tremulous die than see a joke of a remake of it'.

Go back to 1.1 or 1.2 if you're here to complain about Tremulous 2, because these forums are not Tremulous 2 forums anymore.

Look at me; I wanted to see this project succeed at first, but now, it's obvious that it won't. Nobody is going to want to help you, and you will need all the help you can get from this.

Project Unnamed is targeting the general Steam audience, not the group of open-source, F2P, and Linux fans that is the majority of the longterm Tremulous fanbase.






Again, this is no longer Tremulous... Timbo made that very clear.  The only sequel to 1.2 will be by Darklegion Development, which is now a defunct entity.

You're attacking air.  If you are trying to help Tremulous, you should look elsewhere.  This site will have nothing to do with Tremulous, as has been made very clear by Timbo.  If you're trying to hate on this project because some people here just can't seem to find any significant amount of respect for Tremulous' developers, then you're wasting your time.  I, and possibly others here are moving on from Tremulous, to something I'm personally hoping will be much better.

You probably not know, but I may have a case of actual autism. It hasn't been confirmed because I don't even go to doctors (Money issues, same thing/similar to why I can't buy granger plushies), but my personality is actually very distinctive and caused me to be isolated in reality. Technically I feel alienated because of you. What you said before about me is pretty much "GTFO No one respects you."
You might never know, I may be living in an airport relying on free internet as a homeless person, or even being a person who is 90 years old and doesn't know how or has a fear of using online banking systems.

-You invented something legendary that you treasure. A small local community enjoys it quite a lot.
-Then someone starts using your ideas "with your consent" (related to the open-source rule from CC) and makes a better version of it. You don't care as long as he doesn't make money from it as you initially didn't, and you spent a lot of your time on the original anyway. (Funko is released as a Tremulous Mod, not a different game nor is sold for a price)
-Then all of the sudden, he reforms on how the product was made, and also made it look really pretty. It still hasn't been confirmed whether it will be successful or not. It also will sell with a price. However he claims to get 100% of the profit and offers you a discount when you get angry at him.
-You warn him with a message saying you may sue him for intellectual theft, and tells him to at least change the name of his product. He argues further on why he should be allowed to sell your modified product with your initial name you gave the original.
-You get fed up and simply tell the local police to give him an official warning.
-A portion of that local community loved him and followed him like loyal disciples, so when he says he'll change the whole thing.
-The community sneers and jeers at him from
