If you don't want to have to download it, well I'm making a retarded mod called "GPP-1.1 Fusion 'Arena'" where the 'arena' comes from my personal tweaks towards turning it more fun. I'll upload a video of the gameplay *sometime* later.
If you're including assets, unvanquished is probably as closest as possible you can get. Currently half of their new assets are done by stannum, the guy who made the 1.2 models but then gave them to unv. However, they are turning away from tremulous style gameplay. They're still in alpha so half still seems like tremulous.

I just count 1.2GPP as some final form of 1.2 because, lets face it, that's about as far as its going to get.
