Why do you play with such low resolution?

I'll have you know there is absolutely nothing wrong with my resolution, but the fact that I play on a laptop screen, combined with the fact that I somehow still use Photobucket for image hosting leads to small image sizes on this forum.

Solution:
1. Set your resolution to your desired one. I play on a laptop with a "standard" 1366x768 resolution (I play windowed 980x580 though), my previous laptop had 1366x??? which ended up with a weird ratio of 250something to 180something... I also play with 20-30 fps on average which is why I don't go to high bp servers. Besides I never really liked high bp games, although wonderland had 400 restricted bp with instabuild, allowing me to come up with a new 'ninja building' technique. Literally, fighting as a ckit by building temporary buildables in front of the enemy while dodging them.

2. Bind a key to /screenshotjpeg or /screenshot if you prefer targa formats. You'll find the screenshot in your application data directory
Code: [Select]
Win XP: c:/docs and settings/user/appdata/tremulous/base/screenshots OR
c:/docs and settings/user/localsettings/appdata/tremulous/base/screenshots (using vanilla 1.1 client)
Mac: HDD/User/Library/App support/tremulous/base/screenshots
Linux: Something like mac without the library and appsupport folders, not sure where exactly the data is kept but it should be in user/???/tremulous/base/screenshots

3. Upload the screenshot, from what I see from here it seems very troublesome. Hit the attachments button instead when you post images,  it seems imageshack has now been absorbed into commerciality shitness so I use dropbox personally but that's all temporary as it doesn't last forever.

Therefore, Tremulous 2 might have the future (or might not, since it isn't developed by a corporations, depends on what Global Government will decide), but Unvarnished doesn't.

ViruS, MachineMedic plays for years that way and you're going to give him a tip? A solution? Don't be ridiculous.

20-30 FPS on the IDTech3 engine is pretty damn bad.  Most people I talk to idle between 200 and 800.
