We really cannot say exactly date now. Try to ask after few months. We want to release betaversion in well playable form, but now really don't know.

Just wondering, how much of the engine/gameplay-wise/everything-source-code-related has been done so far? 5%? 20%? If it's any higher than 10% i'd be suprised already.

Therefore, Tremulous 2 might have the future (or might not, since it isn't developed by a corporations, depends on what Global Government will decide), but Unvarnished doesn't.

ViruS: We are in preproduction state, so our source code progress is still none, but creating this game is not only source code. Even many features in game is not made by source code, but with internal tools - for example shaders aren't written by text, but composed by graphical tools. So - it is hard to measure it.

Another thing is that we cannot start to code anything, unless kickstarter campaign will be over. Otherwise we will need to pay fee for Unreal Engine.

All our current work is mainly for kickstarter campaign.

lol....

I was searching for a tremulous HD wallpaper for my google chrome yesterday, and i found an old topic that i remmebered tracking: Making Tremulous HD.

You were involved a bit, and you used the unreal engine for some period of time. Doesn't that mean you already have some of the stuff ready? :P

They way you talk to me sounds discouraging, so I built my own fort above to maintain interest.

Sure, I explored engine years ago. That is one reason, why we selected it now.
