Hello guys,

when I looked today to get some news of tremoulous a game that gave me a lot of fun, I found your project and website.

it inspired me to make a proposition for a logo for Murnatan and I hope it will inspire other graphic artists to do the same.

weather you like my work or not it doesn't matter to me, as long as others feels to give that project a hand because I really want badly to play that game again, I miss so much the gameplay !!!

Comon every body join the fun  ;)

Edit :
I used Illustrator for the logo shapes and Photoshop for the visual.
"Murnatan" font is created by me
Other font is a simple Arial

To the devs : you can PM or email me if my work  interested you

A++

Edit: What program did you use to create that, by chance?

If you added a few stars in the background, it would kick ass even more.

I second this.
Also, I'm pretty sure he used Photoshop. (As is pretty much required for anything amazing like this.)

Of  course you're right about details, lets say it is just a rough to give an idea.
For that kind of presentation I would need also realistic 3D assets from the game to complete it.
Adding stars is on my mind also adding explosions on earth and pushing details in generals to obtain a more dramatic picture.

Thank you all for you're nice feedback  ;D.

Now, you see... when I have long periods of time to myself and not a huge number of posts on these forums to keep me entertained, I get ideas.

If you were to have Rotakak's team (who obviously isn't doing anything without funding at the moment) help you convert the 2Ds in your image into 3D models and textures... you could really be onto something.

I'm also thinking that if you can work with a Czech team, Rota may or may not be interested in volunteer help with various things in the future...

online help is good but I think there will be a lack of teamwork...

Well all depend on the online workflow that will be set up.

volunters are part of a lot of project over the net, some gives money to a team and others give skills depending of what is worth for the project to be up.

And the success relay also on the mutual respect shared by all participant wether they are paid or not.

Personaly I strongly think that a commercial project can take advantage and must take advantage of both philosophies Open source and internal developpement.
While there is a paid team  to lead the developpement and garanty the business professionalism, an other team can be set up to contribute (somehow to help and reward the risks taken by the business team).

It is all about "how dedicated I am ready to support this project to get later the fun I'm seeking", it is not like if we knew that there were 5 000 000 $ ready to be invested in that project. Even so contributors would be most appreciated because they give a fresh point of view.

I just noticed that the 2D art isn't quite centered above the earth, and the radius of the light rays.

Just thought I'd point that out in case you wanted to fix that.
