Hello everyone, please meet the Node.

Some of you probably know it by the name Telenode. But let's be honest - who really has time for such a long word in a multiplayer shooter anyway? So no. This is a Node.

Unless you want it to be something else.
While some weapons, buildings or even aliens will have more or less different default names than its predecessors, you can make a simple change in a text file and give these things ANY name you want.

Did you noticed that "ANY" in previous sentence? Right. That means A LOT of options.   

So..any good ideas?

Looks good, but I'll probably accidentally call it a telenode on a regular basis and the new players will give me strange looks.

I might have a few ideas...


 - Networked Offloading Device - Enhanced version  [NODE]

 - Matter-Energy Transporting Unit  [ME-TU]  (English slur of 'Me Too')

 - Field Instantaneous Deployment Offloader  [FIDO]

 - Patented Offworld Instantaneous Networked Transporter  [POINT]



I might think of some more eventually, but I personally think POINT is clever.  :3

Not really, this is easy to remember, it's a teleno... oh wait.

Dunno about node, but alien egg should be named "spoon" :d

Nice ideas
Actually alien buildings have almost same names, more changes is in aliens, weapons and human buildings.

I sometimes called them "tele" (like television) because it allowed teleportation on some mods.

Good to see there's work being done.
