How about a bow in the game? I know it might sound stupid but a good recurved bow would be nice to see there, hunting dretches and all.

I suppose something like that would make good material for a mod or something.

Though I don't think it would be taken seriously, respected, or appreciated in the core game.

Any new weapon is complicated - it must be useful for something and balanced. If you will have bow then there will be always better weapons to choose (faster, accurate..).
